Rhapsody in Blue
I made this image after hiking to the top of Oak Mountain in Alabama at sunset in the fall. The sky was awash in stormy shades of blueish-gray but I accentuated the blue. I also made a variation with a more purple tone. A small fire burns towards the bottom of the image but don’t worry it wasn’t the forest. I made this while standing on the edge of a cliff overlooking the valley. This image is simple but invokes such serenity.
